Why I Finally Built a Website That Feels Like Me

For years, I felt like pieces of my life were scattered across the internet. A blog here. A social media account there. A resource I created years ago. A product review. A workbook. A planner. A story I wanted to tell. None of it was wrong, but it never felt like it all belonged together.

Bringing It All Together

Over the past month, I decided it was time to change that. Instead of trying to fit myself into someone else’s template, I started building a website that reflected my life, my interests, and the things I care about most. Little by little, the pieces started coming together. The books I’ve created. The journals and planners. The lessons I’ve learned living on a South Dakota farm and ranch. The products I genuinely use and recommend. The stories about family, grandkids, growth, and starting over. The resources that have helped me along the way.

Something Unexpected Happened

For the first time, it all felt connected. As I worked on the website, something unexpected happened. I stopped feeling rushed. I stopped feeling like I was missing out. I stopped looking for the next shiny thing that promised to be the answer. Instead, I started appreciating what I had already built.

There Is Only One Me

A blog may not be new. A YouTube channel may not be new. An email list may not be new. But there is only one me. And there is only one story that combines all of these experiences into something uniquely mine.

It Feels Like Home

This website isn’t perfect. It will continue to grow and change. There will be new blog posts, new resources, new books, and new ideas. But for the first time in a long time, it feels like home.
