All The Things I Wish I Could Remember

When I rebuilt my website, started creating Amazon videos, learned YouTube, experimented with social media, and worked on blog posts, I ran into a problem.

I couldn’t remember everything.

One day I was looking up image sizes. The next day I was trying to remember my blog post format. Then it was Amazon review structure, Facebook post ideas, YouTube reminders, and website settings.

Why I Made This Guide

I found myself searching for the same information over and over again. So I did what I always do when life feels complicated. I simplified it.

I grabbed some index cards, wrote down the information I needed most often, and taped them together into a flip guide I titled:

“All The Things I Wish I Could Remember.”

It’s not fancy. It’s not color-coded. It doesn’t require an app, a subscription, or a complicated system.

It’s simply a collection of reminders that help me spend less time trying to remember what to do next and more time actually creating.

Final Thoughts

What surprised me most wasn’t how helpful the cards became. It was realizing that every creator eventually builds systems. The longer we learn, the more we discover that success isn’t about remembering everything. It’s about creating tools that help us remember what matters.

This little flip guide reminds me that progress doesn’t have to be perfect. Sometimes the best systems are the ones created out of necessity. The ones made with a stack of cards, a marker, and a desire to stop looking up the same thing for the tenth time.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the moving pieces in your business, website, content creation, or creative projects, maybe you don’t need a more complicated system. Maybe you just need a simple one you’ll actually use.
